Nottingham, the second National heat

The second National heat of Miss Caribbean UK 2016 took place on the 2nd July 2016, at the NAE (New Art Exchange) 39-41 Gregory Boulevard, Nottingham.
We are now regular commuters on the M1. We left about 8 O’clock and even with a pit stop we got there for our 1PM deadline, no mean feat, considering our driver has great respect for the speed limit.
Nottingham ladies represented! Candidates, as usual, performed exceptionally well on the night. Four contestants were chosen; and will be in the final, with a chance to be crowned Miss Caribbean UK 2016.
Sanya Hemmings 22 representing Jamaica
Charlotte Brailsford 18 representing Trinidad & Tobago
Natasha Love 28 representing Jamaica
Tanya Melhado 29 representing Jamaica

Our fabulous judges on the night have experience of a wide gamut of skills in the community and entertainment sectors: Dionne Rose, Ray Lewis, Tammy Jeffers-Wells, Leroy Gray and Jahvan Harper
Goodie bags were sponsored by: Carib Beer, Tropical Sun, and Port Royal Patties
The London heat of MCUK is on Sunday 10th July at the Shaka Zulu restaurant, Stables Market, Chalk Farm Rd, London NW1 8AB. Doors open at 6.30pm
