ACLT Charity with Poetic Unity

Miss Caribbean UK 2024 Queen, Shakyrah Davis, attended Pain into Purpose, a poetry screening event by ACLT Charity and Poetic Unity, on November 30th at Ritzy Brixton. The event featured powerful spoken word performances by Princess Ari and Kobi, a panel discussion, and a Q&A on Sickle Cell Disease awareness. Councillor John-Paul Ennis was also in attendance.

At the event's close, ACLT and Poetic Unity announced a blood drive for January 18th. Shakyrah addressed the audience, expressing her commitment to raising awareness about Sickle Cell and encouraging as many people as possible to donate blood in unity.
