​I am proud to share that on Saturday 28th June, in partnership with the African Caribbean Leukaemia Trust (ACLT), the Caribbean Tourism Organisation UK & Europe, and Miss Caribbean UK, we will be hosting a community blood drive at the Brixton Blood Donation Centre as part of ACLT’s One Drop Saturday campaign.

One of my goals as Miss Caribbean UK is to raise awareness around issues affecting our community. As a blood donor and someone who has experienced loss due to Sickle Cell, it is important for me to encourage others to donate. Blood donation can save lives—especially for those with Sickle Cell and Leukaemia who rely on close matches from African and Caribbean donors.

Giving blood alone can feel daunting so let’s do this together! Just one donation can make a life-changing impact for many.
