Miss Shakyrah Davis @shakyrahdavis and Samara Telesford @its_samz_official, reigning and former Miss Caribbean UK Queens graced the vibrant spectacle of the 2025 Notting Hill Carnival.

In a beautiful twist of fate, both queens, amidst the pulsating rhythms, dazzling costumes, and kaleidoscope of colours and surprisingly bumped into each other along the parade route.

This joyful and unexpected encounter added an extra spark of unity and sisterhood to an already unforgettable day, perfectly reflecting the strong bonds within the Miss Caribbean UK family as they celebrated Caribbean culture, heritage, and pride at one of London’s most iconic annual events. 💃🏽🎶🌴

Alexis Cheri Massiah is a proud Bajan-born woman navigating life in the UK, shaped by both the richness of her Caribbean roots and the experience of cultural contrast. Feeling once removed from her own heritage, she’s made it a joyful mission to reconnect, embracing Bajan history, language, and traditions with pride.

This journey has deepened her love for her culture and inspired her to represent it wholeheartedly. As a tutor, Alexis finds true joy in helping children grow through learning. She also aspires to become an air traffic controller, a career that reflects her drive for excellence, structure, and service. Raised in a close-knit, value-driven family, she stands firmly rooted in who she is.

As Miss Caribbean UK Ambassador, Alexis is committed to honouring her heritage while carving new paths for herself and others; celebrating where she comes from, and boldly striving for excellence and success.

She is currently pursuing a degree in Animal Management and Zoology, with a strong interest in animal behaviour and global conservation efforts. Her dedication to animal welfare led her to South Africa, where she worked hands-on rehabilitating sick animals, a transformative experience that deepened her purpose. Aliyah is also a creative spirit who enjoys painting, writing, and documenting her travels and animal encounters through video.

Known for her adaptability and expressive nature, she brings energy and authenticity to everything she does.

Through Miss Caribbean UK, Aliyah hopes to celebrate her vibrant culture while inspiring young people to embrace their uniqueness and follow their passions with purpose and pride.

She is a very dedicated athlete who strives for excellence as she Graduated with a High National Certificate in Sports (level 4).

Additionally, the love she has basketball reflects her true perseverance and determination, and not forgetting a passion for culinary which emanates from her Grandmother that strengthens the cultural heritage.

Kayla's journey exemplifies determination and self-improvement, making her a remarkable role model and ambassador for Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique. She strives to elevate her nation Globally, whilst fostering an environment that can support and encourage future generations.
