In Loving Memory of Stephen Lawrence
💛 13 September 1974 – 22 April 1993 💛

Today, we remember Stephen Lawrence—a bright, ambitious young man from South-East London with dreams of becoming an architect. Stephen was talented in maths, art, and design, and deeply committed to his family, school, and community.

Tragically, on 22 April 1993, Stephen’s life was stolen in an unprovoked racist attack at just 18 years old. He didn’t know his killers, and they didn’t know him.

Stephen’s story shook the nation and sparked a movement for justice, equality, and change that continues to this day.

At Miss Caribbean UK, we honour his life, legacy, and the work of the Stephen Lawrence Day Foundation in empowering young people to dream big, speak out, and create a better, fairer world.
