Francis Agyapong was born and grew up in the beautiful land of gold and chocolate, Ghana. As a young boy growing up in Ghana he completed his academic cycle. Once finished at the age of 18 he enrolled on an exclusive tailoring course, where he learnt to make ladies and menswear. Four years after, inspired by the great Ghanaian designer Kofi Ansah he took a bold step and started his own business, following his passions for making clothes.

As a man prone to bold steps, he moved to the UK where he perfectioned the art of bespoke tailoring in the heart of British fashion, London and the renowned Saville Row.

His talent and skills became quickly recognised and Dance Sport International (DSI) came calling. He made dresses for the celebrity contestants of Strictly come Dancing. He also had the privilege to create the clothes and visual for the Menswear windows at Harrods. He followed by keeping a close relationship with BBC working on other various programmes such as "Tumble". He also works for the quintessentially British brand Dege & Skinner.

Francis was grateful and honoured to have been asked to work on the Miss Caribbean UK pageant. His passion for such a vast culture, full of flavour, elegance and uniqueness drives him to create exquisite and peculiar creations for the contestants.

Kreative Stitch

Born on the beautiful tropical island of Montserrat WI also known as the Emerald Isle, I started sewing at the young age of 11; designing and hand stitching unique dresses for dolls.

By age 15 I knew how to use the hand-sewing machine and began creating my first real dress collection. From that moment on I knew my true passion was in sewing, fashion and design. My inspiration came abundantly from my creative parents, Caribbean culture and global arts.

As I got older I became more and more passionate about having a career in fashion and went on to study tailoring and design professionally in the UK.

Today I’m founder of my own fashion label Kreative Stitch and some of my many crafts include menswear, ladies wear, wedding and pageantry dresses.
